Collection search - Census Reference Maps, 1941 - 2001 [cartographic material (some electronic)]

TIFF files were scans made at Statistics Canada, for maps of the census years 1966 - 1996 inclusive, and the compilation maps for 2001.
The material in this accession is only partially processed. Maps in manuscript/printed form for the census years 1966-1996 inclusive remain at the accession level; researchers should consult the processed, scanned copies of those maps, unless the processed .tiff files do not meet research needs.
A preliminary, very approximate count of the manuscript/printed maps remaining unprocessed at the accession level, by census year, is as follows:

1996: ca. 5520 items (RCN 2007-0465)
with approximately twenty additional miscellaneous maps (RCN 2007-0461).
