A transplanted Canadian, Brett Parker (the main character), returns to his hometown in the hopes of moving the team to Houston. Instead he ends up as the team's new General Manager. In this second season Parker has been forced to resign from his position and his trying to regain control of the Steelheads. In this episode Colleen begins to mistrust Duff's new girlfriend, Samantha, and her increasing involvement in the business matters of the team. Brett is in an ethical dilemma about the knowledge he has of Hudson's previous marriage and some of the business benefits he is receiving from Hudson. Brett is also trying to get Todd Maplethorpe as his newest client, but it looks like he might sign with Hudson James instead.
