The series centers around three central characters, Curtis, Hope and Nathan, and their relationship to their apartment in the Kensington Market area of downtown Toronto. The main character Curtis truly never leaves the apartment and immerses himself in the world of television. In this episode a masters student takes interest in Curtis' constant television watching and conducts interviews with him at the apartment, while Hope finally starts her cake decorating course with a handsome charismatic decorator. Tension rises as Faith spends more and more time in the apartment. Curtis and Faith foster a connection over their love for television until that Faith reveals she has lied about the paper in order to get close to Curtis.
