Recreating Eden presents intimate biographies of gardeners from around the world. This documentary series demonstrates the role that gardens play in the lives of people and communities. It is about the people who create gardens, who gather in them, live in them, and are sometimes healed by them. They are trained botanists, landscape architects, horticultural therapists, and passionate self-taught hobbyists.~In this episode, Laura Berman used to be a landscape architect, but grew tired of creating elaborate and expensive back yards for people who simply wanted a garden because they had money.
