Consists of GSGS topographic maps, trench maps and enemy organization charts for France and Belgium. File also has drawings by W.W. Alward, one being an unidentified floor plan for a house while the other shows alterations to the house of Dr. Rankin in Woodstock, N.B.

William Wallce Alward enlisted in 1916, and served in France from 1917-18 with a British Siege Batttery, Royal Artillery. Mr. Alward was wonded three times; shell splinters in his left hand; gassed near Albert; and lost the greater portion of his hearing due to shell fire near Cambrai in 1918.
