Obverse: image of people, one couple holding hands, all approaching arched doorwary with sun under arch and sunlight bursting out.

Accompanying material note:

Originally mounted in a tan coloured case, 11.5 x 12.7 x 3.2 cm, case stamped on l.r., on inner satin liner of top cover: MONNAIE DE PARIS, Original case is housed with medal within same volume.
