Off air recordings of the 1997 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit held in Vancouver.~Tape one comprises: a speech from [Tong Che Wa], a chief executive from Hong Kong, China held on November 22, 1997 during the parallel APEC CEO Summit also in Vancouver; a news conference given by Prime Minister Jean Chrétien about the conclusion of the APEC Summit; the closing declaration made by the economic leaders of APEC countries and read by Prime Minister Jean Chrétien at the Museum of Anthropology in the University of British Columbia (UBC); and live news conference given by the economic leader of the Philippines.~Tape two comprises: a news digest concerning the business opportunities created by this summit for Vancouver; the closing declaration made by the economic leaders of APEC countries and read by Prime Minister Jean Chrétien at the Museum of Anthropology at UBC; and a speech given by [Tong Che Wa], CEO from Hong Kong, China held on November 22, 1997 during the APEC CEO Summit.~Tape three comprises: footage of the arrival of each economic leader of APEC countries at the Museum of Anthropology, UBC, where each one is greeted by Prime Minister Jean Chrétien; a speech given by Mexican President Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de Leon, himself introduced by J.
