General note:

This accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Division within Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA). The primary function of the division is to administer the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA). In December 2003, responsibility for the customs program, including the administration of SIMA, was transferred from CCRA to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).

The records are arranged according to CCRA's subject file classification system. The accession includes records pertaining to the following subjects: Anti-Dumping - General Series - Briefing Material for Minister and Deputy Minister; Anti-Dumping Legislation - Canadian - Creation of a Canada Border and Revenue Agency; General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) - Rules of Origin.
