Because of her love of art, Elizabeth Frey counted many Canadian artists (mainly sculptors) among her friends. She became the photographer of choice for many Toronto-based sculptors and collaborated on two book projects with Dora de Pèdery-Hunt and also took photographs of exhibition installations and portraits of the artists at work.

Artists represented in this series include: Dora de Pèdery-Hunt, Maria de Nagay, Mary Hecht, Frances Loring and Florence Wyle, Anne Mirvish and Karl May.

Photographs of Dora de-Pèdery-Hunt's works include photos of medallic work (in different stages of completion) jewellery, sculpture and liturgical wood carvings. There are many images of interior of churches in Southern Ontario where her work is held.

There is also a quantity of personal correspondence within this series. It should be noted that many of the photographs are unidentified, the negatives having been stored in unmarked sleeves. However where possible, titles of works or descriptions of subject matter has been provided.
