The sub-sub-series comprises records of Maggie's Toronto Prostitutes Community Service Project, a drop-in and street outreach program for workers in the sex trade, of which June Callwood was a founding member and President of the Board of Directors. The Maggie's material includes minutes of meetings, financial statements, newsletters, pamphlets for publicity or educational purposes, clippings, monthly and annual reports, programs for fundraising events, records of by-laws and incorporation, staffing files, a policies and procedure manual, an operations manual, and records of the Prostitutes' Safe Sex Project. Further evidence of prostitution is provided by correspondence with Alexandra Highcrest (author of "At Home on the Stroll") and Andrew Sorfleet (author of "Sex Workers' Workbook"); organizations like the Canadian Organization for the Rights of Prostitutes, Sex Workers' Alliance of Toronto and Vancouver, and the Association for Youth in Care (Edmonton); and government agencies like the Department of Public Health of the City of Toronto. Special items include a "history of sex worker activism in Toronto", a report on the VIII International Conference on AIDS / III STD World Congress held in Amsterdam in 1992, and pamphlets for sex workers on subjects like bad tricks and safe sex. Much of this material is explicit.
