The material for Jessie's Centre for Teenagers largely covers efforts to move the threatened centre from rented premises to a new facility owned outright, and includes correspondence with charitable foundations for the capital campaign, letters from Peter Bronfman, publicity documents, update reports for supporters, notes for June's speech at opening of the new location, photographs of individuals such as architect Jack Diamond, and correspondence with artist Sarah Hall who designed the stained glass windows for the nursery, and colour slides of her art work (R 5274, vol. 7). There are also records relating to a Task Force on Teenaged Mothers and the founding of Jessie's. A consultant's study or survey of the pregnant teenagers who used the centre, their needs, and services required, sheds further light on this disadvantaged group which is poorly documented in Canadian society.
