Margaret Frazer's personal material consists of appointment and address books; notebooks and diary notes for 1976-1985; correspondence and notes relating to travels in Europe; essays and examination reports from McMaster University; teaching certificates; her thesis on superior students in high school; biographies she wrote for the "Encyclopedia of Music in Canada"; and correspondence. The latter is predominantly letters from friends during her illness with cancer in 1985, but also includes earlier letters from Earle Birney 1960, June Callwood 1974, 1980-1981; and Pierre Elliott Trudeau, 1977. Another file documents her writing and publishing of an affordable exhibition guide titled "The 39 Women" for Judy Chicago's "The Dinner Party" show presented at AGO in 1982. There are also 24 photographs, mostly of Margaret Frazer teaching, playing music and on holiday
