The film begins with the following intertitle; "Long before the Final Offensive, Britain had established her supremacy in the Air." Shot of the warplane night bomber FE2d Mauritius III (in daytime) with gunner and pilot. "And this aerial activity developed a type of warrior who was as desirable as the proudest nation could demand." Shot of a posed group of members of 60 Squadron, left to right: Frank "Mongoose" Soden (with dog), Captain William A "Billy" Bishop VC DOS MC, Keith "Grid" Caldwell, E W "Moley" Molesworth, Spencer "Nigger" Horn. "The preparations had not all been declared in this, and it took the hugeness of the final offensive to make men realise the colossal combination of the scientific, industrial and administrative effort which encouraged the troops towards this last great effort." FE2d's of the squadron are armed. "The bombs they carried inspired the Germans with great fear, and..." A ground crew technician primes a bomb hanging from the wing of a warplane. "There was no cessation throughout the whole offensive of this war in the air." Shots of warplane with groundcrew and gunner. Planes taxiing out.
