Canada. Office of the Administrator Anti-Inflation Act : The Office of the Administrator, Anti-Inflation Act, was created in 1975 as one of the three agencies responsible for enforcing the wage and price controls program. The Office was given the authority to render binding decisions when contraventions of the Act occurred or when the parties concerned contested the way in which provisions of the Act were enforced. The Office was also authorized to review all aspects of the dispute and issue decisions with the force of law which set maximum limits on wages and price increases. The Office of the Administrator ceased to exist in 1980.
