From the series Mohawks in Beehives, made up by fourteen prints taken in the downtown of Brantford, Ontario at the end of March, 1991. The images in the series capture Selley Niro and her three sisters having an afternoon out in the city, enjoying themselves, "being really loud" and "letting go". The series challenges the validity of existing stereotypes in the euro-Canadian representation of the people of the First Nations and aims to re-take control of the narrative via the imagery.

This image shows three women at the base of the Joseph Brant Memorial.
