Footage includes: the Biological Survey Station at St. Andrews; a wier construction of stakes and brushwood; a model of a standard sardine weir which illustrates the 500 weirs in the Bay of Fundy; a net contracted and "pursed" at the bottom by draw ropes; and netting into a fisherman's skiff.~Sardine runners make daily trips to the weirs. The boats are unloaded at the factory where an expert can pack 2500 cans daily.
