A public affairs television program. A study of teenage pregnancies, and a look at the (Calgary) Adult Day Care School for Unwed Mothers. The program examines: the character of the school; the dilemma of unwed mothers; the futures of unmarried mothers and their babies; the feelings and thoughts of some teenagers on birth control; prenatal classes; the emotions felt by pregnant unwed teenagers during pregnancy and the post-natal stage. Close-up interviews of: Nat Flaig, councillor at James Fowler High School; Barbara Mann, principal of the School; Jean Anderson, councillor at the School; and Jean Curry, Public Health Nurse. Shot (in silhouette) of an unwed teenager who went through the difficulties of an adolescent pregnancy, in interview as well. <24mn>
