As a 12 year-old, she was going to "act as a conscience for the decision-makers". The powerful speech she delivered was recognised as a call to action by international leaders. Ten years later, Cullis-Suzuki attended the World Summit on Sustainable Development, held in Johannesburg, South Africa. This time, she was invited by United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan to participate on the Summit advisory panel, alongside former heads of state and renowned wildlife activist Jane Goodall. Her extraordinary experience is documented in Jo'Burg; A View From The Summit. <30mn>Notes:Detailed holdings information: -
