Fall of 1913. The completed new building at 53-55 Agnes street, now called Dundas street where the new Eaton Complex is going up. The girl in white at right is Nunzia D'Angelo. The Eaton building top can be seen at the back. The building was lost in the Great Depression for failure to pay taxes. It was a restaurant for a while then demolished to make way for Eatons parking lot. It had been the Italian Consulate Office from 1907 to 1918. More than 50 Italians had their mail sent here, where it was picked up by them.
