1. The Farmersville Project was inspired by Colin Low's Fogo Island Project in Newfoundland. Low used film to communicate the needs of the community to the government, and the "silent majority" could express their opinions, and potential for improvement existed.~2. Low was commissioned by the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) in Washington.~3. Spanish titles appear on film due to the large Chicano population in Farmersville.~4. Processed by Consolidated Film Industries, Hollywood, California.
