Angus (or Auguste) McKay (1836 - 1910) was a Métis politician who represented the Conservative Party in the riding of Marquette, (Man.). He was the first aboriginal Canadian elected to the House of Commons. Angus McKay married Virginia Rolette and had seven children. He served as Indian Agent at Berens River (Man.) for the last 19 years of his life. McKay died in 1910 at Berens River (Man.)
