Footage of Orange Lodge Farm Indian Head in Saskatchewan showing the boys learning various farming duties. Seen are the opening ceremonies for a new building for a boys' home with various speakers. Also show are: farm duties; Boy Scouts; and hockey. Footage of Protestant Home for Children, showing children attending school in Indian Head, children on playgrounds and children performing household duties. Children are seen at the dinner table; doing homework; doing an emergency slide evacuation; attending church; with Santa Claus; at Cub Scouts; and praying.

1. The Orange Benevolent Society of Saskatchewan is an auxiliary of the Loyal Orange Association.~2. A PDC card with this description indicates there were four reels as follows: 300 feet of 16mm silent original reversal Kodachrome; 325 feet of 16mm magnetic stripe and silent colour Kodachrome original reversal, 475 feet of 16mm silent Kodochrome original reversal and 400 feet of silent Kodachrome and Ansco (the fourth reel has Kodachrome intercut with Ansco original).~3. Most of this footage is from the early 1940s but the mag stripe showing the opening ceremonies dates from 1953.
