Sequences on fishing.~The films starts with an inter-title: "Like a giant crescent extending across the province of Quebec from the mighty St. Lawrence to Hudson's Bay stretch the rolling hills of the Laurentians." Panoramic shot of the Laurentians. Inter-title: "here is an unspoiled wonderland of pineclad slopes and pleasant valleys entwined with myriad lakes and streams that make it a veritable sportsmen's paradise." Shot of a river. Inter-title: "It is June when the denizens of the cold, clear waters of this picturesque Canadian region rise eagerly to the angler's lure…and on the shores of a certain pretty lake we find - ."Shot of a campsite with pitched tents. Four anglers head to the dock and get in their canoes. One of the anglers waves over at another. Inter-title:"Bet you a ten-spot I'll catch more trout than you today!" Shot of a man waving her off. One of the other anglers wants in on the action and the trio of anglers head out in their canoes. Several scenes of the three anglers fishing and catching trout. One of the anglers, a woman holds up a fish. Inter-title: "meanwhile the woman in the case is attempting to prove piscatorially that 'the female of the species is more deadlier than the male' ." Shots of the anglers catching, casting, and netting fish.Inter-title: "Another streak of finned lightning." Shots of fish being reeled in.Inter-title: "As day wanes the anglers return to camp." Shot of the anglers in canoes arrive back at the dock. The two male anglers step onto the dock and hold up their catch. The female angler looks at the two men, shakes her head motions to her guide who holds up her larger catch. Inter-title: "Who says the woman always pays?"
