Dramatizations with intertitles designed to stimulate discussion on the topic of the law as it applies to women. The intertitles advise that the film will be used most effectively if it is stopped immediately after each scene and the current law is examined and discussed. Six scenes follow: Scene 1: a waitress is not permitted by her male boss to take a break that she is entitled to. Scene 2: two women seek a business loan from a male loan officer and are told they need their husbands to co-sign their loan. Scene 3: an unmarried couple is breaking up after three years and the male assumes possession of their boat against the woman's wishes. Scene 4: a native female architecture graduate is applying for a job and the male interviewer makes comments about natives being alcoholics. Scene 5: an intoxicated father belittles his wife for leaving their children unattended in the car and drives off with them. Scene 6: a female employee is harrassed by her male supervisor. An intertitle advising viewers to stop the film and discuss follows each scene. <10mn>
