Topics include: social and economic pressures endured by the four Ontario schools of forestry; the role of a forester and chief forester; relationships between government, universities and forestry officials; the boreal forest as a major export for Canada; forestry as a renewable resource if proper management is realized; difficulty of forestry graduates in finding jobs; tree growing methods at the Swastika nursery in Northern Ontario; and the interests and techniques of sylviculture. <30mn>
