This photograph shows a portion of the Ottawa Electric Railway's streetcar no. 42, probably in Ottawa's lowertown. The route of the streetcar, Parliament Buildings, is on the side of the car. This was built in 1892 by W. W. Wylie Carriage and Wagon Works, and operated until it was retired from service in 1912.
