Streetcars in Quebec City and Ottawa. The first Ottawa segment shows: scenes of red Ottawa Transportation Commission streetcars; streetcar; streetcar leaving large garage; over the garage door is the sign Ottawa Electric Railway 1906; streetcar travelling along tree-lined route, probably along Richmond Road; streetcar travelling along tracks on a raised track bed, parallel to a road that is at a lower level; streetcar stopping at a small, roofed passenger stop; streetcar coming down a hill; streetcar number 505 travelling in countryside; a streetcar crossing a road; a streetcar turning from Sparks Street onto Bank Street heading south; streetcars and cars moving over the Bank Street bridge; a streetcar maintenance vehicle with a ladder mounted on its side; and people standing and watching the maintenance vehicle as it moves along the track. The second Ottawa segment shows: more scenes of Ottawa Transportation Commission streetcars travelling in various locations in Ottawa, Ontario; streetcar travelling along road; streetcar leaving Ottawa Electric Railway garage; streetcars travelling north along Elgin Street; streetcar travelling down a hill; streetcar number 918 travelling along a curved city street (possibly Wellington Street to Somerset Street); streetcar travelling along tree-lined route; streetcar moving along a quiet city street (possibly in the Glebe neighbourhood); streetcar turning from Sparks Street onto Bank Street, heading south; streetcars travelling along Rideau Street west towards Elgin Street, with the Daly Building, the train station and the bridge over the Rideau Canal visible in the background; streetcars travelling on Elgin Street toward Wellington Street; streetcars travelling in a tree-lined neighbourhood, possibly parallel to the Richmond Road; streetcar travelling in the countryside, surrounded by fields, probably on the route to Britannia; and streetcar stopping at a large wooden station, probably the Britannia station.
