Boucher, Gaétan, 1958- : Canada's greatest winter Olympian, winner of four Olympic medals, Gaétan Boucher (born 1958) competed as a speed skater in four Olympic Games, the first in 1976, when he was only seventeen. He became a national hero at the Sarajevo Games in 1984 where he won two gold medals and a bronze.

Speed skater and four-time Olympic medalist Gaétan Boucher earned the Canadian record for most medals won at a single Olympics when he won three at the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo. This record was not surpassed until 2006. Here, Boucher is photographed training for the 1976 Innsbruck Olympic Games.
