The film shows: planes shown taking off for Corregidor; paratroops jumping out; aerial photographs of the paratroop jump and landing and the use of naval bombardment and aerial bombs in the assault to recapture Corregidor. The American Navy, Marines and Air Force move to the China Sea where they directly target the Japanese. Aerial footage shows fighter jets bombing the Japanese coast and Japanese fighter jets. The narrator stresses that the capture of Iwo-Jima is vital because it is heavily armed. During the battle, the Marines have finally made it from the ships to the shoreline where they are shown in combat. There is later footage of soldiers wounded and the surrendering Japanese.
