M. Excerpts from the writer's letter to the addressee [to be submitted to the audience granted by Pius VII to Litta, PF Prefect, in early March 1815]. According to the letter, Lambert, vicar apostolic in Newfoundland, is seriously ill on account of the rigidity of the climate, and wishes to return to Ireland and to be replaced by Scallan, an Irish Recollet, the island being served by that order. PF notes (paragraph 9 [of the ponenza prepared for the CG of 6 March 1815; see Acta 020]. Re Lettere [i.e., PF to Troy, 18 March 1815; see Lettere 036]. Bs: folio 198v-199r.
