C. The writer deals with the request of an English Protestant to have his sons buried in the [Notre-Dame-de-Québec] church, where his wife was buried in 1763 or 1764, and to erect a monument to her. This second request must be forwarded to the Pope [Pius VI]. The addressee is asked to report to Castelli on the state of his diocese, and told that subsequently the writer will present a personal report in the Fall. PF S [of C 123]. B: 336r.
