C. The addressee must inform PF about the suppression of the conventual revenues of the abbey of Méobec. He must also inform the bp. of Petraea [Laval] that 1,000 scudi are not sufficient for the erection of the bishopric of Québec, even if it is sent by way of the papal secretariate. On the other hand, the addressee is told that PF is anxious to put an end to the matter and will try to obtain the expedition by way of the papal secretariate, provided that 1,000 scudi are immediately sent.
