LS. The writer acknowledges the addressee's letter of 10 [Jan. 1673], and the C of another letter re the bp. of Petraea [Laval]. He has written "this week" to cdl. [P.] Altieri. The bp. of Petraea wants to use the abbey [of Méobec] to fund some canonicates in Québec, but the writer believes that it would be preferable to use the funds assigned to the missions in the Cévennes. PF S. PF notes (to be filed). Bs: 37v-38r.
