LS. The writer encloses a report on ¨the island of Maryland near North America¨ and a catalogue of 14 missionaries qualified for a mission in those parts. PF S, notes (the report confirms the necessity for a mission in Maryland, that would be supported by the Catholic Governor [L. Calvert]; the first missionary listed in the catalogue [Britton] could be appointed prefect; correspondence on the mission may be addressed to the Spanish or Venetian embassies in London).
