LS. As the King [of France, Louis XIII] and the N. [in France, Bichi] did in their letters [of 22 Feb. 1633: see SOCG 53, 58-60], the writer asks that PF intercede with the Capuchin General Chapter, meeting in Rome, so that the missions that the Pope [Urban VIII] established at the King's recommendation in the Orient, England and Canada be confirmed under the care of Léonard [de Paris] and Joseph de Paris. PF S (Léonard and Joseph are styled "prefects"). Re CG 178[/7] of 13 June 1633 [see Acta 30]. Df of PF answer [partially torn].
