Round political button in support of McKinley. Black and white photograph of McKinley at centre. In white at lower centre "McKinley". The back of the button advertises "Sweet Caporal Cigarette". The button was made by Whitehead & Hoag. McKinley was the first to use the celluloid button for his presidential campaign in 1896, and then again in 1900. This is the button from the 1900 campaign. Celluloid part of the button is coming loose at the edge. Straight pin type pin back.
