Round political button. In brown letters on white background at upper centre: "Rosemary Brown" and at lower centre: "NDP leader". In centre is a brown picture of Rosemary Brown. Button supporting Rosemary Brown for leadership of the federal NDP. Although Brown did not win, she was the first woman to run for the leadership of a federal political party in Canada. Previously, she had become the first black woman to serve in a legislature in Canada when she was elected as a BC MLA.
