The image is from a grangerized volume of Bigsby's 1850 publication The Shoe and Canoe, to which Bigsby added or inserted drawings, maps and prints as well as many annotations., This item is not listed in artist file 705-302, although another single engraving, formerly in the 2nd copy of Bigsby's The Shoe and Canoe, held by the Library, was removed, and then assigned acc. no. 1992-593-6, Bigsby II-12, and copied as C-011707.
