This caricature was originally published in the "Kainai News" and was reprinted in Soop's monograph, "Soop Take A Bow" (Standoff, AL: Indian News Media Society, 1979)., "Paternalism towards Indians is only to the advantage of the non-Indian, especially the bureaucratic Indian Affairs. It seems the price of walking free, is all that we have left - our Reservations," ("Soop Take A Bow," p. 87).
