An Iroquois Grand Chief is standing poised with a weapon in each hand, wearing a green military tunic with a triangular hat and a gold medal around his neck. On l.r., a plank house surrounded by a picket fence can be seen., This print was probably published as part of the Encyclopedie des voyages (Paris, 1796-1804) where the source of many of the illustrations is the artist Saint-Sauveur., The paper is stained mostly on l.r.
