Bryan, president of the Canadian Association of Japan, Dr. Hugh L. Keenleyside, Canadian Chargé d'Affaires and Dr. D.R. Mckenzie, the oldest Canadian resident in Japan, are present); kids playing and a mother putting them to bed; Jeff Parsons and Hugh Keenleyside playing golf; Vivian Hallberg and Mrs. Lönnegren swimming in Lake Yamanaka; people getting off a Canadian Pacific ship; two families near the lake; a street market with Japanese children; landscapes; families playing tennis; Hugh Keenleyside in a court dress for diplomats; the Canadian embassy and vicinity; Katherine, Mary and Miles leaving on the Empress of Japan on May 24, 1935; Shinanomachi, Miyoshi San, Michiko, Shidzuko and Mochida and the visit of Mr. and Mrs. Mikasa; children off to school; a train and snowy mountains; the march of the guards at the Parliament in Ottawa and important guests getting into a car. Colour footage: a country club; a mother with two kids; the Niagara Falls; and Manotick landscapes. Black and white footage: Mt.
