This is a plate from A Natural History of Uncommon Birds (London, 1743-1751) by George Edwards, known as the "Father of British Ornithology". Edwards made the drawings on which the prints are based. He also etched and hand coloured the plates and wrote the accompanying text. See R9266-2509 for another version of this print.
