A plate from A Natural History of Birds by Eleazar Albin. It is a two-volume set containing 306 plates published between 1731-1738 in London. Albin and his daughter Elizabeth were also responsible for hand-colouring the plates. The original Albin watercolour on which these prints are based is in Marsh's Library in Dublin.
