A four-part drawing including a large image of a vessel entering the river mouth above, and three smaller images below, including an image of a ship at sea; a fleet entering a harbour; and a ship at anchor., This watercolour was purchased with the title River of Sierra Leone and attributed to an unknown copyist after John Beckett, ca. 1825. However there has been no proof of this and the letter in the acquisition file from Pocock scholar Francis Greenacre states that this is an early Pocock drawing. The vessel and the location remain to be identified. This watercolour would have been done when Pocock was working for Richard Champion.
