This working layout is glued on to the right, inside cover of a black paper folder. 1997-378-3.1 is a tracing paper overlay that fits over the working layout, and it is taped to the folder, just above the layout. The pills and the heart (like the letters in the title "Esprit") in the layout are cut outs that have been glued to the drawing. See 1997-378-4 for a working drawing of the layout and see also 1997-378-1646 for the magazine cover., There is a note attached to the lower right corner of the left, inside cover of the folder. It has not been given an accession number. It reads: "NOTE: / FOR POSITIONING OF PAPER / SCULPTURE SEE BLACK / MARKS (FOR PAGE SIZE) / ON TRANSPARENCY. / SUPERIMPOSE GRID[underlined] WITH / CENTER LINE MATCHING / CENTER OF HEART. / POSITION 19 PICAS[underlined] FROM / TOP OF PAGE. / DROP OUT PILLS, BUT / NOT[underlined] THE SHADOWS."
