The work depicts a view of Niagara Falls (the American side) taken from below and showing the tower & the ferry. It is reproduced in a set of bound lithographs by Holloway in 1846 and titled «View of the Falls of Niagara»., May 1976 - the work isdiscoloured soiled and smudged. The upper edge is warped. There is some stains and foxing u.l., Artist file no. 705-357.
