The painting is over a photo of the regimental banner. The background is not painted. This work is matted with acc. no. 1975-31-3 which depicts the other side of the banner., Dec. 1975 - the work is laid down on a piece of mason board (11 ¼" x 8 ¾"). It is also matted with a gold border and a wider white mat., Artist file No. 705-1117.
