The drawing is one of 3 'panels' purchased en bloc (1974-52-29 to 31). There are 2 separate sketches in this work one of the Montréal Wharves (top) and one of St. Helen's Island (bottom); the sketches appear to be preparatory drawings., The drawing is discoloured and worn on edges and is generally soiled.
