Depicted is a reproduction, from an original ca. 1991 oil painting, by the artist, which recreates a historic mid-nineteenth century event. Men of the St. Thomas Rifles, Port Stanley Marines, Vienna Infantry, Tillsonburg Infantry, and the St. Thomas Cavalry are shown returning to the old Town Hall, in St. Thomas, after the Fenian Raids on September 1966., Note: Attached to the verso of the frame is a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artis, as well as a printed biography of the artist., @2, The accession and items numbers for this collection are still to be determined.
