Depicted, in the print image, is a right facing Steller's Jay, perched on a snow-covered evergreen tree. The hand drawn Remarque, below the print image, at bottom right, depicts the left facing head of a Steller's Jay., Attached to the verso of the frame, is an envelope containing a hand signed and titled copy of one of the artist's illustrated information/art cards (i.e. Contemporary Canadian Art Card Series - Stock No. 3601 -- "Varied Thrush in Winter"). Attached to the inside of this card is a copy of the business card of John Backhouse, Mayor of Prince George, B.C., with the following message "Mr. Prime Minister: / Best wishes from the / City Council & citizens of / Prince George / J. Backhouse / MAYOR / July 31st 1988.", @2, The accession and items numbers for this collection are still to be determined.
